On the Waves of Creativity: How We Created the Visual Identity for the First Retail Park in Ruse.

When you love to swim in the world of building identities for retail parks, new challenges in the waters of creativity are never far behind. And so, our creative wave took us to the harbor in the heart of Northern Bulgaria – Ruse. A city that, until then, lacked a clear space for fashion and family shopping, as well as a distinct shopping destination. Well, that all changed with the arrival of Prista Rousse – the city’s first retail park.

Brand Idea

Prista Rousse already had a strong brand idea: to create the city’s first shopping destination, welcoming retail outlets that hadn’t been present in the region before. It had a name, deeply connected to the city itself, but it lacked an identity. And our task was to create that very identity – the logo.

Insight

Ruse is a city with history, architecture, and cultural value, but until today, it lacked something very important – a location that residents could associate with a shopping destination. After the freaks gathered for yet another wild brainstorming session, we didn’t see this as a gap, but as an opportunity. The insight came to us instantly – the residents of Ruse needed a fresh shopping spot. We went with the flow of creativity, and our idea was born…

Creative

We were inspired by the very spirit of Ruse, which was also reflected in the name of the park. Our main task was for the logo and slogan to conceptually continue that idea. We needed to establish Prista Rousse as the new and only shopping destination in the city.

Logo

We created a logo that encapsulated the symbolism of the city, along with a slogan that conveyed the feeling of the new and only shopping destination. The shapes and colors in the logo referenced the flow of the Danube River, movement, and new beginnings. The slogan conceptually completed the entire insight, reinforcing the brand as “your shopping excitement.”
