Creative positioning in social networks of a Bulgarian egg farm

When it comes to essential products, the competition in retail networks is high. Our challenge this time was to communicate the distinctive features of a Bulgarian brand from the food industry and to create a creative positioning on Facebook and Instagram.

Angelov farm is a producer of eggs from happy hens, which relies on an alternative method for raising them. As well as the eggs being proudly marked 1BG for free range, they are also the only producers of white eggs in the country in this category.

We couldn’t leave a manufacturer of this rank without a social media presence. Good things should reach more people, especially when we talk about qualitatively and innovative production. This was exactly our mission – to present Angelov farm with fresh visuals and a brand-new line of communication.

Debut on social media

In addition to the rebranding, that we did for the brand – a new, modern logo inspired by the leaders in the sector in Europe and the world, and the visuals of their packaging, Angelov farm trusted us for their debut on Facebook and Instagram. Our goal was to introduce the audience to their products, to the quality of the eggs they produce, and to create a positive image of the brand.

We built an eggcelent tone of communication and a fresh overall visual

In addition to the new logo and packaging, we complemented the branding with a distinctive tone of communication on social media. Guided by the rich taste, the bright color of the yolk, and the insight that the egg is the product with which we often start our day, we bet on a friendly tone that brings mood and playfulness with every visual.

We created delicious content

We knew that our main goal was to reach as many users as possible and grab their attention with bright colors. We created delicious content, with which on one hand we pursued our goal of communicating the products, and on the other – we gave additional value and made the users smile.

An eggstraordinary situation for an ordinary product

Their social media debut coincided with Easter, which was a perfect occasion for insights and creative ideas from us. Angelov farm had invested in equipment for boiling and dyeing their eggs, and we invested creativity and love in communicating this unique and new product to the Bulgarian market. For this purpose, we also took product photos of the packaging to familiarize the target groups with them. The Easter campaign also inspired us to put some seemingly ordinary eggs in an extraordinary situation.

Supporting a public issue in the food industry

It was extremely important for us and the brand to emphasize the fact that, in addition to the fact that the eggs are white, they are also from happy hens raised using alternative methods. In order to protect the values ​​of Angelov farm, we responded in a comment under a publication of the Campaign and Activism for Animals in the Food Industry – “SAY IT”. With the comment, we inspired and informed users to shop responsibly during and after the holidays. As feedback, we received thanks from activists for inclusion and organically generated content from AngelOv Eggs followers.

We also created a creative video



As a signature under a colorful picture, we shared a video just before Easter, with which we once again showed the cool painted eggs of Angelov Farm. It reached over 20,000 users and was viewed nearly 10,000 times.

Our golden hen – colorful distinctive visuals and high activity

At the end of Angelov Farm’s Easter campaign, we were hyped about the results we achieved, namely:

  • We reached a total of over 250,000 unique users;
  • We engaged users, reaching 6.33% engagement;
  • Content impressions reached nearly 282,000 interactions;
  • We enjoyed over 260 unique shares of the published content;
  • We received dozens of personal messages with compliments and photos of the Angelov Farm’s eggs.

The results we achieved naturally make us happy, but we are happier with the fact that we have created a warm relationship with an audience new to the brand. We managed to win loyal and engaged users with Angelov Farm, who today are top fans on their Facebook and Instagram pages. With a personal message or story from a follower, each subsequent creative makes more and more sense.
